Job Summary
We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager to handle sales for the South India market. The role includes managing MICE, Leisure Groups, and B2B sales, building strong client relationships, and ensuring high closure rates. Candidates should have travel or DMC experience and a proven record of closing deals.
Key Responsibilities (KRA’s)
- Regional Sales Management: Strategically managing the entire sales process for the South India market.
- Segment Focus: Actively promoting and closing deals across MICE, Leisure groups, and B2B agent channels.
- Proactive Engagement: Engaging and meeting with key agents and clients across the region to build relationships and secure business.
- Focus on Closures: Maintaining a strong focus on closures to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Team Coordination: Coordinating between Sales Support and Field Sales to ensure timely responses and smooth customer experience.
- Closure Strategy: Involving the right internal team members (product, operations, senior management) for timely and effective closures.
- Conversion Improvement: Supporting Sales Support in analysing data and implementing strategies to improve conversion ratios.
- Administrative Support: Managing logistics for the Field Sales team including travel planning and reporting.
- Financial Synchronization: Handling invoicing (from Proforma stage) in coordination with Sales Support and Accounts teams.
Qualifications
- Experience Level: Open for candidates at the Manager level or those with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Destination Management Company (DMC) or a related travel domain.
- Industry Knowledge: Should have in-depth knowledge of the destination and product.
- Financial Acumen: Hands-on experience in costings and a thorough understanding of client requirements and budget constraints.
- Track Record: Must have a proven history of successfully closing deals in the B2B or Group segments.
- Education: Must be a graduate (a related degree is an added advantage).
